Byrdcliffe Guild, Woodstock, NY. “Quick, Down and Dirty”

Visitors’ spontaneous expressions of what art means to them while in an open meeting hall in nature. An viewer participatory performance titled “Let’s Talk About Art.” Paralleling the Podium were two canvases stretched upon easels, with markers ready for the viewers’ active comments. Surrounding the perimeter of the outdoor meeting site stretched wires to hang the “paintings” upon.

The history of the Etruscan civilization, with pithy comments about time over the backdrop of a flight from NYC to Seattle.
